Saffron – Spanish Premium Grade is the stigmas from the crocus sativus flower. There are 3 saffron threads per flower. The hand picked saffron threads are from La Mancha Spain. It takes about 13,125 threads to weigh one ounce. The threads are delicate and  bright orange-red color.

This Spanish Saffron is certified by ISO (International Standards Organization) as Category 1 “Mancha”. This is the highest Rating for Saffron. La Mancha saffron is renowned to be the highest quality in the world.
